Soccer Shack 4v4 Leagues focus on fast-paced, high-energy play. With smaller teams, you’ll get more touches on the ball, more chances to score, and build strong teamwork with your squad. It’s an excellent way to stay active, have fun, and connect with others who share your passion for football.
4v4 League Structure
- 6 team league, in a round-robin format
- £25 fee to enter, securing your team’s spot
- £40 per team per week, due before kickoff
- Up to 6 players allowed on match day
- Players can’t switch teams mid-season
- Each season lasts for 10 weeks
Player & Equipment Rules
- 1 Goalkeeper is mandatory for each match
- 4G footwear only (no blades/trainers)
- Shin pads are required for all
- Jewellery must be removed before play
- Team kits are encouraged but not required
- Be ready to play a clean game
General Gameplay Guidelines
- No overhead height, keep the ball on the ground
- Players allowed in the box, can score inside the area
- Goalkeeper can leave the box, must throw underarm
- Dribble or pass on from restart, cannot shoot directly
- One-step penalties for fouls inside the box
- Heavy sliding tackles are not permitted

How much is the entry fee?
The entry fee for the league is £50. This fee covers access to a series of competitive 4v4 matches, with fixtures and standings professionally managed. It helps maintain high-quality facilities, refereeing, and administration, ensuring a seamless experience. Pay the fee and get ready for thrilling soccer action!
How do the matches work?
Gameday consists of 25-minute matches, with each team playing two games every Monday between 19:00 and 21:00. Throughout the 10-week season, teams face off against each other four times. The structured schedule ensures consistent and competitive play, making every Monday night an exciting event for all participants.
What do I need to play?
On match day, a maximum of 6 players can be present, including 1 mandatory goalkeeper. All players are required to wear appropriate 4G footwear (no blades or trainers) and shin pads are mandatory for safety. These rules ensure a fair, safe, and enjoyable experience for everyone involved.
Can I switch team mid-season?
Players are not allowed to switch between teams during an ongoing season to maintain fair competition and team integrity. However, exceptions are made if a team folds. In such cases, affected players may join another team to ensure they can continue participating in the league for the remainder of the season.
What is the minimum age to play?
Our 4v4 leagues are currently aimed at ‘Men’s Football’ players. The minimum age to play is 16 years old.
